How does Guardian Angel Classic work?
Guardian Angel Classic Hot-Line
If you are involved in an accident or feel that you are in danger, you can call Guardian Angel Classic Hot-Line by pressing the pre-programmed speed dial on your mobile.
You can then enter an emergency code and Guardian Angel Classic Hot-Line will start recording the call. The recording will assessed by our highly trained bureau staff against strict protocols and a judgement will be made whether to refer the matter to the emergency services or to your employer.
In either case, your circumstances, details and location will be provided on the most accurate basis available.
Guardian Angel Visits
If you judge that a visit you are about to make is potentially risky, you can create a Guardian Angel Visit by pressing the pre-programmed speed dial on your mobile.
Guardian Angel Classic will ask you for a User ID and Pin and will then present you with a menu of options where you can create, close or manage your Guardian Angel Visits. If you decide to create a visit you will be promted to record the name and address of the person you are visiting, the start time, escalation time and call back number. It will then start the countdown timer.
If your visit is completed without incident, you can call the Guardian Angel Classic and close the visit (which cancels the countdown).
However if the countdown reaches zero, Guardian Angel Classic will call you and will, after autentication, allow you close the visit.
If after a specified period you have not closed the visit, an automatic escalation process begins involving designated supervisors/buddies and the bureau controller as the buddy of last resort.
